Huge Telecom has over two decades of local South African telecoms experience. The company commenced operations in 1993 as TelePassport Southern Africa (Pty) Ltd.

In 2007, when Huge Group listed on the Alternative Exchange (Altx) Board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), TelePassport was merged with smaller telecoms operator Centracell (Pty) Ltd, and renamed Huge Telecom.

This achieved the economies of scale and talent required to become a serious player in South Africa’s competitive corporate telecommunications market. Huge Group is currently listed on the Main Board of the JSE.
